Joanie earned her Physical
Therapy degree from Hahnemann University in 1996.
She comes to us with a background in the treatment
of medically complex trauma patients. Joanie's experience
encompasses intensive care, orthopedic post-surgical
rehabilitation, sub-acute rehabilitation, oncology
and cardiology, as well as general acute care. She
is also a member of the Virginia
Hospital Center Medical Brigade Team. The Medical
Brigade sponsors an annual humanitarian healthcare
mission trip to remote villages in Honduras. In
her free time she is an avid cyclist and has a special
interest in physical fitness.
