We
believe that through education, caring, and touch, improved
health can be achieved. We simply use a hands-on approach
to support and promote wellness.
Hand-N-Hand
Therapy was founded in 1990 by
Diane Stroud PT, Advanced Certified
Rolfer® and Pamela Wood PT, LLCC (certified
Lymphedema therapist). During our 28 years of experience
in physical therapy and rolfing®,
we have understood the body as a balanced structure leading
itself to efficient and fluid movement patterns. When this
balance is disrupted through physical or life stresses, a
"dis-ease" of function may develop and ultimately manifest
as annoying or even incapacitating symptoms.
As manual therapists we attempt to identify these imbalances,
provide the necessary reeducation, and enable the body to
attain a greater state of health and comfort.
Our
hands and eyes
are our key tools, with our 2700 sq. ft. clinic supporting
the following: individualized musculoskeletal evaluations,
individualized hands-on physical therapy care in private treatment
rooms, rolfing® sessions, lymphatic drainage technique
"LDT", movement analysis, neuromuscular reeducation,
tailored exercises, individualized gym programs, patient education
and group classes.
Off-site aquatic programs are provided on an as needed basis.
We
will happily coordinate your treatment program with any of
your
other practitioners.
Diagnoses
frequently treated by Hand-N-Hand physical therapists are
